The intensifier pump of high pressure pressurizes the water up to 4,000 bar and it impels through an orifice of only 0.1mm of diameter, generating a water spurt with a speed up to 1.000m/seg.  This water spurt of high energy cuts to a great variety of materials nonmetalists.

In order to cut stone, hard metal and other materials a device is used that drags an abrasive with the water spurt, thus increasing its capacity of cut.
